This reading was produced in partnership with the Spontaneous Project Fund from Northwestern University’s MFA department and featured an evening of a staged reading, food, and community dialogue about the topics discussed in the play with the playwright and panel of mental health professionals and community experts.

A child killer lands in Hell and catches the eye of Satan. When she believes she hears her dead children’s voices on the other side of a forbidden door, she enlists the help of a bombastic playwright, a soulless avatar, and a one-winged demon so that she might reunite with and make amends to her son and daughter.
