RESUME

Francesca Patrón is a Mexican-American director, based in Los Angeles and Chicago. She received her B.F.A. in Stage and Screen Acting from Azusa Pacific University and her M.F.A. in Directing from Northwestern University. She is one of the original founding members of Maeneds Physical Theatre, a cite-specific devising ensemble in Chicago. Selected directing credits include Disposable (CLATA/Steppenwolf) Laughs in Spanish (Cal Rep), Vasilisa: A Play on the Beach (Maenads) As it is in Heaven, The Clean House, The Turn of the Screw, and Annice, A Slave (Wirtz Center) Words We Dimly Hear (Third Culture); and Three Tall Women (VT Theatre Lab). Regionally, she has worked at The Goodman, Cal Rep, American Players Theatre, Writers Theatre, Timeline Theater, Actor’s Co-Op, Hollywood and Third Culture Ensemble. She is most passionate in using theater as an avenue for service, mentorship, and communal healing.
